An Important Correction

I need to make a correction regarding our story about Al’s Goldfish Lure Company. Founder Al Stuart passed away in 1984, not 1978. Changes in company ownership did not occur until after his passing and the new owner, Mike Lee, made a purchase offer to an owner not in Stuart family.

My writing was meant to highlight the fine work and perseverance Mike has brought to the brand and by intention, give only a glance at the company’s history. Al Stuart was way, way ahead of his time with his lure building and marketing; that is undeniable. Any fisherman worth his salt knows the proven power of the Goldfish.
