So after many months of conversations, deliberations and necessary changes, we are very pleased to announce the release of the Fish Wrap Writer Edition Al’s Goldfish Saltwater Series Lure. Jeff and Mandy Debuigne assumed the controls of this iconic lure company a few years ago and have been laser focused on helping people recognize how effective this classic lure is for a host of fresh water fishes and now how many marine fish it catches.

The colors were specifically chosen to be most effective in all sorts of water conditions. At risk of giving away the video, the Fish Wrap Edition lure was designed to catch striped bass and bluefish primarily but since we sent out a few prototypes, it has caught black sea bass, summer flounder, scup and sea robins as well. Jeff and Mandy are redefining the role of a spoon in several different conditions and just may change the way you fish the ocean.

Fish Wrap Writer Edition Al’s Goldfish Saltwater Series lures are available at The Sporting Shoppe in Richmond, RI and at the Al’s Goldfish Lure Company’s website. Here’s a video review that gives you all the details on just how amazing this lure really is. Watch it , try one for yourself, then send us pictures of all the fish you caught with the it so we can make you famous!

That’s not chartreuse. Chartreuse is yellow-green. It’s a liquor. I’m not saying your color scheme isn’t a killer, it’s just not chartreuse.

Well I certainly appreciate the inspection but if you look closely, you’ll see chartreuse is indeed in the spectrum. It’s also a very fine liquor, one meant for moderate consumption as in some late night situations, it can transform easily into “truth serum.” Hopefully the lure is a killer; it’s already caught a lot of fish. If you find yourself in South County, I’ll set you up with one, on me.

A one and one quarter ounce top half purple /bottom half silver would be great! Maybe in the future? Thanks for a great lure. Using them all my life. Tom.

That sounds pretty interesting so I’ll pass that right along to Al’s and see what they say. Thanks very much for the comment, I appreciate you reading.

Hi Tom, I did call up the company and spoke to them about your color pattern. I’ll stay in touch if I can make something happen and thanks again for reading.
