Now’s the time. Now’s the time to gather your photographs of Rhode Island waters, landscapes and people, then enter Trout Unlimited’s Rhode Island chapter photo contest.
Maybe a photo about water, like Jamestown. RIP Lew Kitts.
Maybe something scenic, like Wood River Christmas tree revetments.
Maybe a lucky shot of salt pond pirates steaming to a very secret striper spot.

The Trout Unlimited R.I. Photo Contest is open to all amateur photographers. Your pictures must be from 2025 or 2026 and received by January 7, 2027. Seems fair.
Winners will be announced in January of 2027. Their work wil be exhibited on the RITU website and in a print exhibition at the spring 2027 RITU banquet (very cool).
Yes, there is a very small and reasonable charge. $5 for two images, $10 for up to five images. Totally fair.
Give us your best, your brightest, your most colorful or black and white images of our amazing state. We have much to celebrate.
