From RI’s Trout Unlimited chapter to the Narragansett Surfcasters to Ocean State Kayak Bassin’, this week we hit them all with Spring banquets and tournaments to start off a new season in high style. And, we get to say thank you to some deserving good people.
April calls river herring, northern pike and volunteers to shallow waters. Gather by a herring run to see the miracle of migration then pack lots of shiny spoons for big Spring pike action as they head in to spawn and attack anything approaching their young.
