Somedays it feels like the world is burning so, let us introduce you to two remarkable young people who catch, laugh and share. We could all use a shot of their joy.
From RI’s Trout Unlimited chapter to the Narragansett Surfcasters to Ocean State Kayak Bassin’, this week we hit them all with Spring banquets and tournaments to start off a new season in high style. And, we get to say thank you to some deserving good people.
Rivers mean everything to us so this week, we celebrate Spring’s rivers and riders. There’s a Trout Unlimited banquet, a new kayak lift on the Saugatucket River and sadly, we say goodbye to one of the best, Matt Wunsch. Matt was a fisherman, writer, family man, friend and all around good shit.
This Fall is proving to be an absolutely epic season for migrating stripers and we are seeing fish from the Hurricane Barrier all the way to the Pt. Judith lighthouse.
