6 Holdover Striper Tips
This Fall is proving to be an absolutely epic season for migrating stripers and we are seeing fish from the Hurricane Barrier all the way to the Pt. Judith lighthouse. Narragansett Surfcasters Take Veterans Fishing
The Rhode Island Surfcasters once again share their time and talents, working with the Providence Vets Center, to take some heros fishing. Illuminated by an easy sunset and magic hour lighting, Surfcasters volunteers guided, offered and stood behind a group of vets who deserve our appreciation.

Freeing RI’s Flat River
Deep in the brush, enveloped in protective poison ivy, slowing water, amassing mud, encouraging alders to set roots in a stream, a tired wall has prohibited trout passage for nearly one hundred years. Then, Trout Unlimited, RIDEM and Protect RI Brook Trout grabbed loppers and sledgehammers and tore that wall down. The improvement was immediate and frankly, really wonderful.
